Verified Purchase. I was thrilled. Unfortunately the fabrication tolerances for the TrackPad portion of the tray are just not correct or the design erred on the too tight end of the specification. Like others on here, my trackpad had just enough space to click once or twice in the space provided by the tray and would jam in the down clicked position. I use the tap to click feature anyway so no problem there. The double-tap and hold feature takes a lot of coordination and it is pretty useless.
I was so disappointed I was about to return it.
The issue was clearly a 'clearance' issue inside the tray along the bottom edge of the tray on the TrackPad side. So I was confident I could fix it. I just took out my exacto knife and carefully trimmed plastic away inside the tray until the TrackPad had the space to click and return to the non-clicked position. It took a few trims and tries but it works every time now and you would have to look very close to see the trim work. I'm NOT saying this makes the accessory acceptable.
It should not be up to the customer to modify a product that should work out of the box. Had they put more time into testing and had tighter controls on manufacturing with maybe a less tight fix for the TrackPad it would be an awesome product. For now it is just acceptable if you want to go to the effort to make it work. Hope this helps some of you that kept the product. Sort of!
Dremmel required. Okay, so I bought this because I was convinced that I could make a viable wireless Apple keyboard solution that included a number pad. I still don't understand why Apple has not released one themselves yet, but after years of dealing with a wired Apple keyboard, I finally stumbled upon this "Clique" tray from Henge Docks, and thought, I may have a solution For those of you who don't know, Belkin makes a bluetooth number pad called the "YourType Keypad" that matches Apple's wireless keyboard almost perfectly.
It is also, conveniently, the same size as an Apple Magic Trackpad, which in theory means that it should be able to also just snap into this "Clique" thingy with no problem.

However, there is a problem. The bottom of the Belkin keypad has a bulge in it that makes it not fit quite so snugly in place. I searched and searched the web for alternatives, but found none, so I circled back to this tray and thought, "Well, let's give it a shot anyways. And of course, the Belkin keypad did not fit down flush due to the bulge on the bottom.
So that's when I grabbed my dremmel I am not responsible if you destroy your "Clique" by doing home modifications to it with a dremmel. I'm also sure that the manufacturer does not condone it either, and it probably voids your warranty and makes this thing unreturnable too. So just, be smart, okay? Anyways, I grabbed my dremmel and carved out a small little rectangle into the plastic underneath the tray that is normally designed to accommodate the Apple Magic Trackpad, matching it up perfectly to the rectangular bulge on the bottom of the Belkin YourType Keypad.
Make your measurements, and cut carefully - being sure not to scuff or damage any other part of the Clique. Then, once you have cut out the proper amount of plastic, file the edges to a smooth finish with a metal file.

Once you are done, clean the unit with a damp cloth, and snap in your Apple Wireless Keyboard and your Belkin YourType Keypad, and you'll have something like this The Henge Dock I received has the same problem as many other reviews. When the trackpad is inserted, it will get stuck in the down-clicked state, which means you have to remove it and put it back in. It will work for about 8 clicks before getting stuck again. When I finally broke down and e-mailed support, they e-mailed me a PDF document advising me to rub the inside edges of the trackpad tray with a hard tool.
The idea is that the sloppy mold lines left on the plastic will be removed or rubbed down, preventing the trackpad from getting trapped. This works to a degree, but not very well. I really need to bust out my dremel and remove the extra plastic if I want to continue using it. Ergonomic design Check out on Amazon.
